Coach Urban Meyer is in Fort Collins; Probably Not After Coach Bobo’s Job

Urban Meyer was CSU's wide receivers coach under Sonny Lubick in the '90s. Coach Meyer has been spotted around the Choice City once again.

The Twitter-verse lit up a bit today (December 3, 2019) with word that former Ohio State Head Coach Urban Meyer had been spotted around Fort Collins.

It seems he's been hanging out with CSU's Athletic Director Joe Parker. Urban was the Rams' wide receivers coach from 1990-1996.

All that spurs a conversation that Urban Meyer COULD be returning to coach the Rams as their HEAD Coach, given that it seems likely that Mike Bobo won't be coaching next season.

However, it seems more likely that he's NOT in town for the job; rumors have it that he's up for the Head Coach position that's open with the Washington Redskins.

He's probably in town just to have some fun. The Ram Men have a basketball game at Moby versus San Diego State on Wednesday night. I'd expect to see him there.
