Governor Jared Polis extended the mask mandate for another 30 days on Sunday but eased those same restrictions for people that have been fully vaccinated.

According to Axios Denver, Under Colorado's new order, people gathering indoors in groups of 10 or more are no longer required to wear masks if at least 80% of them is vaccinated against the virus, per a statement from Polis.

For counties that have greater than 35 cases per 100,000 people with no outdoor mask requirement, groups of 10 or more unvaccinated people indoors are to continue wearing a mask. Masks are required to be worn indoors when 10 or more unknown vaccination status people are present, with some exceptions. Got all of that?

So if you're in a group of 10 or 20, the math seems pretty easy but for ME, if I'm in a group that has an odd number of people, I'm definitely going to need to bust out the calculator on my phone to figure out 80%. (but that's just me because math isn't my strong point)

Some people have already voiced their opinion and concerns that this new mandate is polarizing but the governor has stated that this new executive order is simply a push towards more vaccinations across Colorado.
