Along with this national holiday comes local closures.

According to the City of Greeley, these places are closed Thursday, July 4 for Independence Day:

  • City Center North, 1100 10th St.
  • City Center South, 1001 11th Ave.
  • City Hall, 1000 10th St.
  • Family FunPlex, 1501 65th Ave.
  • Greeley Active Adult Center, 1010 6th St.
  • Greeley-Evans Transit Regional Transportation Center, 101 11th Ave.
  • Greeley History Museum and the Hazel E. Johnson Research Center, 714 8th St.
  • Greeley Ice Haus, 900 8th Ave.
  • Greeley Recreation Center, 651 10th Ave. (only restrooms will be open during the parade)
  • Linn Grove Cemetery Office, 1700 Cedar Ave.
  • Municipal Court, 1122 11th Ave.
  • Public Works Administration Building, 1001 9th Ave.
  • Rodarte Community Center, 920 A St.
  • Tointon Gallery for Visual Arts, 651 10th Ave.
  • Union Colony Civic Center Ticket Office, 701 10th Ave.

All of these facilities reopen the next day Friday, July 5.

Facilities aren't the only thing not open for operation, this holiday also affects transit services. Greeley-Evans Transit, fixed-route bus, paratransit van, and Call–N–Ride will not operate July 4.
