So Who Has The Cheapest Groceries in Colorado on a Weekly Basis?
Inflation, inflation, inflation. It's all we've heard about for years now, and I'm reminded that it's a real thing every time I go to the grocery store.
If you're like me, you remember getting a couple 12-packs of soda for $6 back in the day, with the big grocers in Colorado frequently having "2 for $6" sales on them. Well guess what? Now just a single 12-pack costs close to 10 bucks. Crazy, isn't it?

Well, some good news... it's Denver7 to the rescue, as their "Smart Shopper" feature allows you to check in on a weekly basis to see how much all of the Colorado grocers are charging for certain things.
You can track items like chicken breasts, ground meat, peanut butter, eggs, butter and other staples of almost every kitchen in the state, and how those prices change week to week at Safeway, King Soopers, Walmart and Target.

They update the pricing every Wednesday and it's a great spot to help you decide where to shop on a weekly basis to make sure you're getting the most grocery bang for your buck.
Of course, it also helps if you check each store's website or loyalty programs for additional savings. It's far easier to utilize coupons in 2025's digital-first world than it would have been even a decade ago, when you'd have to sift through coupons in a newspaper. Sure, maybe digital coupons aren't as fun, but on the bright side, you don't need to wait in line behind that one person who could never seem to find it!
