Fun for the whole family, including four-legged members, is happening on Saturday, October 29, as the Fort Collins Marketplace celebrates Halloween from 4-6 p.m. with their annual Candy Crawl and pet costume contest.

This event is completely free, and features many different activities for children and pets, in a safe and positive environment. The Candy Crawl includes trick-or-treating at participating merchants, a pumpkin decorating contest sponsored by Butter Cream Cupcakery, a spooky petting zoo with reptiles, photo booth, balloon twisting and a children’s Halloween movie screening of Toy Story of Terror. Movie show times are at 4:10 p.m., 4:40 p.m., 5:10 p.m. and 5:40 p.m. Mild-mannered pets of all shapes and sizes are encouraged to show off their Halloween spirit throughout the event and earn some treats along the way, and also participate in the costume contest hosted by Pet City. Contest results will be announced at 5:30 p.m. outside of Pet City, and the winner will receive a year’s supply of pet food. Get your pet registered for the costume contest at candycrawlcontest.splashthat.com – participants must be present to win.
