Portions of Weld County are included in a Blizzard Warning issued by the National Weather Service until 5 p.m. Tuesday. Driving is strongly discouraged.

Winter, winter, winter. It's not exactly a winter wonderland, however, on the eastern plains today.

The National Weather Service has issued a Blizzard Warning until 5 p.m. for Northeastern Colorado, including Briggsdale, Wiggins, Bennett,
and Castle Rock and north of Limon.

Areas of blowing and drifting snow will significantly reduce
visibility.

Travel should be restricted to emergencies only. If you must
travel, have a winter survival kit with you. If you get stranded,
stay with your vehicle.
