Billy Joel Selling Kerchiefs Designed by Actor Colin Hanks

Not only is Tom Hanks' son Colin also an actor like his dad, he custom designs kerchiefs. He apparently is a fan of Billy Joel as well.

Billy Joel and Tom Hanks are both national treasures, and the connection between the two goes back to Tom Hanks' TV role on 'Bosom Buddies,' where Billy's hit 'My Life' was the theme song.

Billy now has his own clothing line: The 'Downeaster' label. 'A new exclusive collection from Billy Joel inspired by summer on the East Coast,' which now features two kerchief designs from Colin, and his 'Hanks Kerchiefs' label.'

Colin's kerchief line has been in operation since 2018; it's unclear how long the 'Downeaster' editions has been available.

The Hanks Kerchiefs at BillyJoel.com go for $35, which is not a bad price for something that brings two great American families together in one product.
