Bike to Work [or Wherever] Day Returns to Fort Collins June 23
Just because you may not have returned to going into the workplace, doesn't mean that you can't take part in one of Fort Collins' unofficial holidays.
Cycling and The Choice City go hand-in-hand. Fort Collins probably has more cyclists than any other town or city in Northern Colorado, and the city is 'gearing up' for the return of Bike to Work Day.
The city understands that many aren't driving into, let alone biking, into work these days, so they're encouraging everyone to get out on their bikes and head to 'wherever on Wednesday, June 23, 2021.
To celebrate National Bike Month (June) the City of Fort Collins is encouraging everyone who has a bike to bike somewhere on that day: To work, to get coffee, to meet friends at a brewery, 'Wherever.'
With COVID-19 restrictions nearly ended, this will be a great way to get out for some exercise and meet up with friends. As in past years, the city will be setting up nearly 50 'stations' throughout the city for riders to take a break for some snacks and refreshments.
Keep in mind, the official timeframe for Bike to Wherever Day is 6:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m, That's when the stations will be set up. That doesn't mean that you can't still get out on your bike after 9:30 a.m, however.
