Berthoud Teacher Arrested After Relationship with Student
The Larimer County Sheriff's Office has arrested a teacher at Turner Middle School in Berthoud on charges involving a 13-year-old girl student.
Larimer County Sheriff's Office (LCSO) released a statement on June 16, 2021, regarding the arrest of the teacher, after an investigation instigated with a Safe2Tell report.
Kyle Alexander Faust was taken into custody at his home in Thornton on the following charges:
- Internet Luring of a Child (class 5 felony)
- Internet Sexual Exploitation of a Child (class 4 felony)
- Enticement of a Child (class 4 felony)
- Sexual Assault of a Child by One in Position of Trust (class 3 felony)
The investigation found that the alleged crimes, regarding an inappropriate sexual relationship, did take place at Tuner Middle School and at the teacher's home beginning in March of 2021.
As the teacher lives in Thornton he was booked into the Adams County Jail. No bond has been set at this time.
