Before I go any further, I just have to say it is amazing not having to commute hundreds of miles per week in order to do morning radio AND live where I love! I know I-25 a lot better than I planned on way back when, but that's okay. It's been a fun journey. I live with my amazing wife and three grade-school-age girls, and we have as much fun as we can get away with camping, snowboarding, gardening, riding bikes to downtown for food & drinks, going to concerts, sitting by the fire pit, listening to something out of the record collection, or working on a house or garage project. We have two dogs, a lab and a husky, who we take out for exercise every day so they don't drive us nuts – and a funny gray tabby cat, whom I have had since before anyone mentioned above. I watch next to no TV, but when I do, it’s usually reruns that I find dependably funny, like Curb Your Enthusiasm, Chapelle’s Show, or a killer movie like Super Troopers, Harold & Kumar, Cheech and Chong, Scary Movie, or something else I discovered back when I had no kids and lots of time to watch TV! Nowadays, there’s oftentimes something like Fixer Uppers playing in the background while I work on refinishing one of the rooms of our house. It’s hard to explain ‘why’ I do what I do on the X. I guess it’s just something that helps complete me and makes my day go a lot better after I hit the door at 10, largely because I hope it does yours, too. Brewery Review: Horse & Dragon
The brewery business is undoubtedly tough here in the "Napa Valley of Beer," as Fort Collins has been officially nicknamed in recent years. It takes a good atmosphere, a thoughtful location, and.... oh yeah, good beer.

Lottery Scam Costs Eagle County Woman Over $20K
I'm really glad I made a bunch of stupid financial decisions earlier in life. I've been down the debt road, I know all about the payday loan abyss, and today, I make sure I can account for every dollar - and that keeps me from doing something tempting and impulsive like this Colorado woman did.
Elitch Gardens Might Have to Move
We've seen it in Northern Colorado: When a city grows, there's literally no limit to the rearranging that may ensue.
Denver News Anchor Can’t Stop Laughing at ‘Bison Hump Day’ [Video]
I am super, DUPER selective of how much, and which, "news" I let into my brain. I'm tryin' to live at least a semi-spirited life over here. It's local updates, WITHOUT the uneducated, inane Facebook comments - and moments like this - that keep news watchable.
20 Songs that Mention Colorado
I think I feel more energy from Colorado than most people, based on this list. Some good, some 'meh,' some classics, and some that might make you laugh.
Denver Leads Over 100 Homeless to Land Jobs
It's a never-ending debate, and it's indeed a difficult situation: How can we help homeless people not be homeless (or, if you're a scumbag, how can we just get them out of our backyards and let them be someone else's problem?) The city of Denver is doing things that work.
