Arrest Warrant Out For Father of Four in Colorado
A father of four from New Hampshire is wanted by police in Salem for taking his four children to Colorado against the wishes of his ex-wife and the children's mother and refusing to bring them home.
An arrest warrant was issued Friday for Matthew Giovanditto (30 years old) who, according to the Salem Police Department, is staying in campgrounds and parking lots in the Denver area with his 9-year-old boy, 8-year-old boy, 5-year-old boy and 3-year-old girl. According to WMUR , their whereabouts have not been confirmed.
WMUR News 9 spoke with Giovanditto and he said that he and his ex-wife had a written agreement allowing him to keep the kids until October 31st, but Salem Police say the children's mother has a new court order which nullifies that agreement.
Giovanditto is believed to be driving a 2015 white Chevrolet Traverse with a New Hampshire disabled veteran plate 2559. He is also believed to be towing a white Jayco Eagle pop-up camper with New Hampshire license plate T400759.
If you spot this vehicle and camper, or if you have any information, call the Salem Police Department at 603-890-2321.
