Almond Joy: People Actually Like Them

Every year various news outlets will release a list of "every states favorite candy". All the classics make the list. Snickers, Twix, and Skittles all pop up. You can see one of the more popular lists here from USA Today.

I have never seen Almond Joy pop up on any of these lists. Well low and behold Almond Joy made the list this year. It happens to be Connecticut's favorite candy. But really, who counts Connecticut.

However, yesterday after posting a picture of a Fun Size Almond Joy sitting in the studio, and stating that it would sit here until the end time because no one likes them, I found out I was oh so wrong. Our Facebook page was over run with people who said the y would happily drive to the station "right now" to claim said candy bar.
