After Losing 3 Dogs and Cat in Fire, Wellington Friends Setup GoFundMe

On Monday, October 4, 2021, a house fire in Wellington not only caused damage to a home, but claimed the lives of three dogs and a cat.

A family has been left devastated, having not only dealing with a fire in the house while they were away, but also the news that their dogs and cat didn't make it. 

You cannot put a price on the grief that the family must be feeling, but friends of Jake and Mindi have come together to try and help. They've created a GoFundMe account, with a goal of $10,000.

Jake and Mindi lost their home, 3 dogs and their cat due to a fire. They are completely devastated. This fund is to help them in the interim and help them get a kick start to recovery.

It goes to show you how communities come together in times of distress. 'What can we do? I just feel terrible..' I think we've all been there in some way or another. It's great to see the effort.

Now, they may not reach the goal of $10,000, but whatever amount they raise, they'll at lest lift spirits up at least a little bit, especially with the holidays approaching.
