Every year, a couple days before the Grammy Awards are handed out, an organization called MusiCares, holds a huge charity gala to raise funds to assist musicians with financial, medical, and personal assistance. During the night there is a silent auction and a big tribute to whoever is named "Person of the Year". Well, this year it's not a single person who's been selected, but the iconic band Aerosmith.

The band announced the honor at their "Deuces Wild" residency show in Las Vegas last week. A lineup for the tribute show has not been announced yet. Last year, Dolly Parton was the first country artist to win the award, which included a tribute show featuring Katy Perry, Garth Brooks, and Miley Cyrus.
