A Death During Labor Day Weekend-The LPD Needs Our Help
The Loveland Police Department is in need of help in identifying a vehicle and its occupants that may have participated or was witness to the death of a 52 year-old male.
Loveland Police responded to an early morning call on September 2nd to an off-site parking and shuttle lot located at the 6100 block of Staliion Dr. in Loveland, which was being used for the Thunder In The Rockies Rally. They found the unresponsive victim at the scene and was declared dead. Investigators say that injuries to the victim were consistent with being run over by a vehicle and blunt trauma.
The LPD posted a photo of a white four-door pickup truck with a black bed cover that was spotted at Crossroads Blvd. and Stallion Dr. at or about the time of morning the crime may have been committed. The lot was illuminated with commercial lighting and staffed with security personnel, so there may be other witnesses that have yet to come forward. They are asking for the public's help in providing any information about this truck and its occupants and to call Detective Brad Templeman at 970-962-2290.
