The State of Colorado is home to 273 different municipalities - comprised of 198 towns, 73 incorporated cities and two consolidated city and county governments - Denver the city and Denver the county are one in the same, officially.
And even if you've traveled all over the state, the odds of having heard of all 273 of those are slim to none. I hunted a list for some of the more unique town names and did a little research as to what goes on there.
The short answer? Not much. But do you know where these Colorado towns are located? Have you even heard of them before?
