The 100th Annual Greeley Stampede Is Almost Here

A Northern Colorado tradition that feels like it's been around for forever. Probably because it has been... The Greeley Stampede is celebrating its 100th year as a staple summertime event in Northern Colorado. I remember my first experience at the Stampede wasn't until I was 18. I grew up in Denver and we didn't have the transportation growing up to get us up to the Stampede but I'd always hear great things about it so when I finally got to go it was so exciting! Journey was the first show I'd seen at the Stampede Arena but that was just the start as I've seen many more since that awesome night under the stars in Greeley. My pals Justin Watada, Kevin McFarland, the great folks on the Stampede Committee, and their amazing volunteers have pulled out the stops for this year's event and it could be their best event in 100 years. That's the goal anyway right? Here are 5 reasons you should be excited for this year's Greeley Stampede.
