The month of April is right around the corner, which means you may try to get in those last minute runs on the slopes. But there is so much more than skiing in Colorado in the month!

From events that deal with the white powder that only blanketed the mountains this winter, or events that have to do with the delicious food throughout the state of Colorado, there is something for everyone to take part in during the month of April!

Here are five events that we think are a "must see" or "must attend" during the first full month of spring. Some of these events happen in our very own backyard, and some you may have to pack the car and go on a mini road trip.

Either way, put down the electronics and check out everything the state has to offer next month. You'll be glad you did!
