A Look At Fort Collins Comic Con: A Great Time Helping a Great Cause
Fort Collins' 10th annual Comic Con happened in mid-August of 2025, with fans of all things 'Geek' coming from across Colorado.
What Does Fort Collins Comic Con Benefit?
Since its inception, Fort Collins Comic Con has donated over $120,000 to children's literacy through Poudre Libraries; the 2024 and 2025 events they also raised over $50,000 benefitting the Alliance for Suicide Prevention of Larimer County.
Being a huge 'Star Trek' fan, I was thrilled to see a transporter similar to the kind you'd find on 'Star Trek: The Next Generation.'
It's hard to believe that the 2025 Fort Collins Comic Con was my first Comic Con of any kind; I'm definitely a "geek," especially when it comes to sci-fi. With Fort Collins Comic Con celebrating its 10th event in August of 2025, I decided it was time to attend; I dragged my brother along.
Our day actually began at Totally '80s Pizza, as they had a special going if you had a Comic Con badge, which we did. It was convenient, as Totally '80s is right by the Fort Collins Senior Center, where the two-day event took place. We played Galaga and Ms. Pac-Man while we waited for our food.

We headed over to the event; we weren't sure what to really expect, having never been to a convention like this, but we grabbed lanyards for our badges and dove in. The place was full of people, which was great; it was fun to see so many people excited about which ever "geekdom" they were into at the Comic Con.

There were 12 different "special sessions" throughout the weekend, with several "Daily Events," as well. With over 150 vendors in two different spaces, it was a lot to take in; I could see many people wanting to attend both Saturday and Sunday.
