12 Year-Old ‘Bran Schneider’ To Rock The CSU Lagoon

This twelve year-old from Fort Collins loves playing fast rock music and metal. It will definitely wake up your ears before the main act this week at the free CSU Lagoon Summer Concert Series. His name is Bran Schneider and he and his drummer love to rock. This show is part of Little Kids Rock which has an opening spot at 6pm, each week at the concert series, before the headliner takes the stage.

From Little Kids Rock:

Bran Schneider is a twelve-year-old singer, song-writer, and guitarist who loves performing fast, intricate, metal solos… and the occasional acoustic rock song. Influenced by modern metal bands like Black Veil Brides, Asking Alexandria, and Bring Me the Horizon, Bran brings intense energy to his shows and gets the audience moving and screaming (in a good way). He was the second place winner in the 2019 Simply Talented competition (sponsored by Team Wellness and Prevention), and he plays guitar for several Polaris School alternative and rock bands.
Bran became involved in Little Kids Rock through the talent competition and the LKR program at his school. As part of LKR, he’s loved getting involved in our amazing local music scene. He’s been grateful for the opportunity to perform as part of FoCoMX, and at awesome venues like Washington’s, The Swing Station, and the Museum of Discovery.
For the Lagoon Concert Series on July 10, Bran and his drummer friend, Parker Goshey, will be playing together as their band, Area 52. Parker is an incredible 11-year-old drummer with School of Rock who met Bran through their teachers at the Music District. They’ll be performing high-energy covers of Black Veil Brides and Nirvana. They’re also excited to perform an original metal song called B’alam, which means “Jaguar” in Mayan, and was inspired by Bran’s Guatemalan heritage.
