UPDATE: The Larimer County's Sheriff's Office (LCSO) said Saturday the fire is now that coveted 16 acres and is now fully  contained. The west lane of Highway 14 has reopened, although LCSO recommends driving with caution in the area.

Voluntary evacuations are lifted. Crews will work into the evening and continue to monitor the fire overnight before resuming full operations again on Saturday (June 6) morning.


 

The Larimer County Sheriff's Office (LCSO) is responding to a wildfire burning in the Mishawaka area, near mile marker 108 on the Poudre Canyon Highway.

According to a Twitter update from LCSO, the fire is approximately three acres and air resources are on the scene.

Highway 14 is currently closed with no estimated reopening time.

Officials are advising residents near the Mishawaka Inn to voluntarily evacuate the area, stating that a mandatory evacuation might be enacted.
