Alright, all my single ladies and eligible bachelors, put down your Tinders. We're going to talk statistics, and it may or may not be as great as what you just 'swiped right' on.

My Facebook page has been commandeered by engagement photos, and Pinterest-style wedding receptions with barns and Mason jars and you bet I am starting to wonder if there are just no single men left.

(Thankfully, I know divorce rates are very high, and I'm optimistic about that.)

I'm probably just being a little dramatic. According to Town Charts, data from the 2015 American Community Survey showed that the Fort Collins' population is, for the most part single, with only 43 percent already paired off in holy matrimony. But, those are mostly between the ages of 18 and 24. Of the single men, only nine percent  are between the ages of 25 and 29; women that age, six percent.

OK, did I just read that right? That seems a little depressing and inaccurate to me. Maybe it is time to download Tinder.
