A 33-year-old Greeley man is facing a long list of charges after allegedly threatening two people with a gun and unsuccessfully trying to steal their car before shooting another victim and stealing his vehicle.

That's according to a post on the Weld County Sheriff's Office Facebook page.

According to the post, police got a call just before 10 a.m. Monday about a neighbor trying to steal a car on 5th Avenue in Greeley. When they confronted the man, identified as 33-year-old Cole Graves, he allegedly threatened the pair with a gun before running away.

But it wasn't long before Graves shot another man and stole his car. Officers found Graves in the stolen vehicle, but he was able to get away after a short car chase.

But a warrant was issued for his arrest, and deputies from the sheriff's office were able to arrest him around 11 p.m.

He was booked into the Weld County Jail on the following charges:

- Attempted 2nd Degree Murder
- 1st Degree Assault
- Aggravated Robbery
- Attempted Aggravated Robbery
- 1st Degree Aggravated Motor Vehicle Theft
- Felony Menacing
- Possession of a Weapon by a Previous Offender
- Criminal Mischief
- Vehicular Eluding
- Theft
