VOTE: Who Should Experience Colorado Camping for the 1st Time?

There are few better places in the world to camp than Colorado. Cool nights and pristine mountain views make for once-in-a-lifetime experiences.

But there's a number Coloradans who have yet to enjoy camping in the Centennial State.

For the next Townsquare Media's Outdoor Adventure, someone will get to experience Colorado camping for the first time. Our contest saw more than 200 people enter and offer a variety of different explanations for why they wanted to go camping — we plucked the 35 entries of people wanting to go camping in Colorado for the first time or who had planned to take someone camping for the first time.

The top vote-getter wins a weekend camping trip in Estes Park with check-in on Friday, Aug. 23 and check-out on Sunday, Aug. 25. Voting ends at midnight on Wednesday, Aug. 14.

Jax Outdoor Gear specialists will help you get set up and supply you all the gear you will need — you get to keep the four-person tent, four sleeping bags, four sleeping pads, camping stove with propane and camping cooking gear after the experience. Camping supplies are provided for groups of four.

Townsquare Media will throw in a $100 towards food so you can feast on your camping adventure.
