The sixth stage of the seven-stage race starts at 11:35 a.m. at The Ranch before going through Windsor, Loveland, Carter Lake, up Buckhorn Canyon to Rist Canyon, Horsetooth Reservoir and then finishing in Old Town Fort Collins
The USA Pro Challenge bicycle race is returning to Northern Colorado. Stage 6 of the 2015 race Stage 6 starts at The Ranch Events and finishes in Old Town Fort Collins.
Northern Colorado is welcoming the USA Pro Challenge August 17th-22nd and in honor of the historic event, sponsors are holding a family-friendly festival for the community.
Stage 6 of the 2013 USA Pro Challenge bicycle race charged through Northern Colorado Saturday afternoon. Thousands of fans and curious onlookers lined the 115 mile course and packed into Old Town, Fort Collins for the finish.
Stage 7 brought the 2013 USA Pro Challenge to an exciting conclusion with eight circuit laps around Downtown Denver. In another thrilling sprint finish, Peter Sagan took the final stage win (his fourth of the race) and Colorado resident Tejay van Garderen took home the Smashburger Leader Jersey.
Stage 6 of the 2013 USA Pro Challenge took the riders from Loveland to Fort Collins in an exciting day of riding that included the race’s last KOM competition. In a fast and furious sprint to the finish, Peter Sagan took the stage win and Colorado resident Tejay van Garderen held onto the Leader Jersey.
This morning the USA Pro Challenge raced past the Townsquare Media studios. They came by just after 11:45AM to a crowd of cheers, cowbells, and bam bam sticks. It took the entire convoy less than a few minutes to blow through town on their way to Estes Park and to the finish in Old Town Fort Collins.
In a race against the clock, Tejay van Garderen of BMC Racing Team took home the win during today’s Stage 5 Individual Time Trial in Vail. The win solidified his lead and he will remain in yellow leading into the penultimate day of racing tomorrow as the riders travel from Loveland to Fort Collins.
Cyclists will travel 117 miles from Loveland to Estes Park and down to Fort Collins on Stage Six of the USA Pro Challenge. Drivers should expect a large number of roads to be closed today.
The Queen Stage of the 2013 USA Pro Challenge lived up to its name as the riders traveled 102.9 miles from Steamboat Springs to Beaver Creek, tackling five KOM competitions and one sprint. In an uphill battle to the finish, Janier Acevedo took the stage and Tejay van Garderen claimed the Leader Jersey.
