A bomb threat has closed one Fort Collins transit station on Tuesday afternoon.

New mask requirements have been put in place for all who use Transfort buses due to new federal regulations.

The changes were made after guidance was issued by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment and as a result of COVID-19 cases rising locally in Larimer County and in Colorado.

The lines would run along West Elizabeth and North College.

Starting this weekend, a portion of the MAX guideway as well as two MAX stations in Fort Collins will be closed for concrete repairs. We have all the details.

It makes sense: offer a brand new city service to residents for free, while you work all the kinks out.  Well, as of today, that time is over for the MAX bus system in Fort Collins.

More changes are coming for Transfort bus service in Fort Collins. Starting Monday, May 19th, Transfort will change three new routes, extend service hours and increase frequencies on several routes.

After 16 years and 87 million dollars Fort Collins MAX Rapid Transit bus service is finally fully operational. The 1st bus left the South Transit Center at 11 a.m. on Saturday.  It is an amazing achievement considering what it took to make this project happen.

The City of Fort Collins and Transfort are kicking off the MAX bus rapid transit service on Saturday, May 10th.

Many Fort Collins residents are counting the days until the MAX Transit bus system gets up and running next month, but they might be disappointed to learn that the shiny new buses won't be running on Sundays just yet.
