This Saturday marks the season opening of Buckhorn Northern Railroad, also known as the little train that runs through Loveland's North Lake Park. All aboard!

I know it's Thursday, but I wanted to make sure I wished you Happy Memorial Day before things get crazy around here tomorrow.

You know the rule, don't drink and drive, and always buckle up, pretty simple. The Larimer County Sheriff's Office will be conducting DUI patrols this Memorial Day weekend. The Sheriff has assigned extra deputies to patrol specifically looking for persons driving under the influence.

While summer doesn't officially start until June 21, Memorial Day marks the unofficial beginning to the hottest season at the movies. Summer loses some of its meaning when you're an adult, since it no longer comes with a moths-long break from the grind. Nevertheless, we can all still enjoy a good movie about summer vacations.
