Hughes Stadium

It's been just less than a year since the last football game was played on the grounds of Hughes Stadium. But that doesn't mean that the public hasn't found a way for the historical site to be used for something else, like skateboarding.

It didn't seem to take terribly long for city and Colorado State officials to determine the best outcome for CSU's former stadium.

When you look back at the year 2016, it was a big year for many aspects of Northern Colorado. However, the sports scene was at one of the biggest peaks ever seen in the region. But which story was the biggest from the past year?
