Two suspects have been arrested following a shooting that occurred in Fort Collins and police are now asking the community to report any related damage.
The bullet and casings were found in the classroom earlier in the week at Laurel Elementary. However, officials believe children were not at risk at the school.
A lockdown situation at Fort Collins High School kept students safe Thursday morning, but police are still investigating the situation that made the school take the precautionary steps.
There was one arrest made after the accident occurred, which resulted in serious injuries to a two year old Colorado Springs boy. The gun discharged after the two boys found it and ended up playing with it on Saturday.
Officials are telling parents that school resource officers and school counselors are available to both parents and children to answer any questions they may have concerning gun safety.
