Alexander Mountain Fire

A ranch worker has been arrested in connection to this summer's Alexander Mountain Fire.

Investigators know what caused the Larimer County wildfire that burned nearly 10,000 acres in Northern Colorado.

Recovery efforts are now beginning after the Northern Colorado wildfire.

It will take many, many months, if not years, for things to get back to "normal" in the area of the Alexander Mountain Fire that happened in late July/early August in Larimer County, west of Loveland. Before that, hopefully, investigators will have released information on its cause.

The Greeley Fire Department has issued a burn ban in the city and the Western Hills Fire Protection District. The ban applies to all outside fires, including recreational fires.
