Steve Perry Releases New Song-Album Coming Soon

The idea of Steve Perry coming back to music has been on the minds of the fans of Journey and those that remember his iconic voice from the 70's & 80's. Neil Schon, good friend and a current member of Journey, has been stating recently his desire to work with Perry again. Schon mentioned the idea of doing an R&B album with Perry. So strong is Schon's desire, he's been dedicating Journey songs during their current tour to Perry.

We shall wait no longer. Steve Perry is back.

This week, Perry left a cryptic message on his Instagram account that said, "I know it's been a long time comin". As it turns out, that happens to be the opening lyric to his new song, "No Erasin' ". It also means we're getting more than just one song. According to Ultimate Classic Rock, a new album entitled Traces will be in stores on October 5th.
