The signing season for the American Hockey League was full of returns and new additions for the Colorado Eagles. Here's a full wrap-up of all the players the Eagles signed and returned going into the 2021-22 campaign.

Benjamin Tardif - Forward

Tardif has signed a two-year deal with the Eagles, placing him on the roster through the 2022-23 season. His efficiency will be key for the team as he scored seven goals in 16 contests with the QMJHL Victoriaville Tigers in a condensed regular season.

Callahan Burke - Forward

The Eagles have signed Burke through the 2021-22 season. In his rookie campaign, Burke notched two goals and seven assists for the Eagles. Before his AHL career, Burke collected back-to-back Big-10 championships in four years with the University of Notre Dame. There, he collected seven goals and 14 assists as a senior captain in 37 contests.

Ryan Wagner - Winger

Wagner has signed an extension through the 2022-23 season with the Eagles. In 58 contests with the Eagles for the 2020-21 campaign, Wagner collected 11 goals and 12 assists.

Rob Hamilton - Defenseman

Like Wagner, Hamilton has signed a two-year deal through the 2022-23 campaign. Hamilton spent the last three season with the Stockton Heat. There, he led the defensemen in points with 29 and in assists with 22.

Matthew Boucher - Forward

Boucher has a direct familial relationship with professional hockey and is very decorated in the sport himself. In the 2020-21 season, Boucher was named ECHL Rookie of the Year. The Eagles have signed the rookie to a two-way contract for 2021-22 season. He led all ECHL rookies with 25 goals and 52 points in 59 games for the Utah Grizzlies.

Boucher is the oldest child of Stanley Cup Champion and NHL All-Star Phillipe Boucher.

Andreas Englund - Defenseman

Englund is signed for the 2021-22 season with the Eagles. He also served as a captain for the U20 Sweden team in the 2016 IIHF World Junior Championship.

Dalton Smith - Forward

Smith, a veteran forward, has signed with the Eagles for the 2021-22 season. Like Boucher, Smith also comes from a long line of professional hockey. He is the son of former NHL forward Derrick Smith and nephew of NHL stars Keith Primeau and Wayne Primeau.

Smith has recorded at least 100 PIM's in three of his eight AHL seasons.

Sasha Mutala - Forward

Mutala's contract has been extended through the 2021-22 season with the Eagles. In the 2020-21 season, Mutala recorded one assist in six games with the Eagles.

Luka Burzan - Forward

In 14 AHL games, Burzan has notched three goals and one assist. He's signed a two-way contract with the Eagles for the 2021-22 campaign.

Miles Gendron - Defenseman

Gendron has also signed a two-way contract with the Eagles for 2021-22. He split last season with the Eagles and the Utah Grizzlies, and he recorded two goals and one assist in 15 contests with the Eagles.

Charles-Edouard D'Astous - Defenseman

D'Astous is the latest signee with the Eagles, signing a two-way contract for the upcoming season. D'Astous is heavily decorated from his time at the major junior level. He notched 49 goals, 132 assists, and 268 penalty minutes in just 244 games with the Rimouski Oceanic. He received a spot on the QMJHL First All-Star Team and won Defenseman of the Year in the league. He was also awarded the CHL's Humanitarian of the Year in the 2018-19 season.
