Say goodbye to the beloved Old Colorado Brewing Co. taproom: the final closing party is happening on December 21. However, the brewery's taproom will be opening in a new location very soon.

The brewery has been making beer since 1989, but in 2016 decided to operate out of an old converted grain elevator, "constructed of wood timbers stacked on top of each other for one solid building," according to their website.

Old Colorado was the first brewery in Wellington, Colorado, and doesn't plan on stopping its operations any time soon. According to their post, they're currently looking for a new location where they can continue to serve the beer that the Wellington community loves the most.
