Colorado Airport Ranked the Most Stressful in the U.S., New Report Claims
While one new study that has been making the rounds on social media claims that Newark Liberty International Airport is the most stressful in the world, another report that doesn’t even list that particular airport makes the argument that a Colorado airport is the most stressful in the United States.
How Stressful is the Airport in Aspen, Colorado?
The data, which was generated by something called Spin the Wheel Generator, named the Aspen/Pitkin County Airport as not only the most stressful airport in Colorado, but the most stressful in the entire country.

The report was determined using five factors, including the number of average departure delays, arrival delays, cancellations, passenger volume, and reviews from Google.
However, despite being ranked as the most stressful in the nation, the Aspen/Pitkin County Airport has a score of 4 out of 5 on Google; meanwhile, the Spin the Wheel Generator gave it a score of 4.95 out of 10.
Besides Aspen, Colorado, Where Are the Most Stressful Airports?
In addition to Aspen, Watertown International Airport in Dexter, New York, was named the second most stressful, followed by Hagerstown Regional Airport in Hagerstown, Maryland, Chippewa Valley Regional Airport in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, and Houghton County Memorial Airport in Hancock, Michigan, which rounded out the top five.
While this particular study puts Aspen/Pitkin County Airport at the top of the list of the most stressful, it’s not the first time that Aspen’s airport has made an unfavorable list, as it has also been named one of the most dangerous airports in the nation due to its location in the Rocky Mountains.
