Philip K. Dick's Sister is Buried in Fort Morgan, Colorado
Philip K. Dick and his twin sister were born prematurely, and, unfortunately, his sister, Jane, would die as an infant.
Why Was Philip K. Dick's Sister Buried in Colorado?
At the time of Jane's passing, the Dick family was in the process of moving from Chicago to San Francisco, while the infant twins' fraternal grandparents lived in Fort Morgan, Colorado.
It's believed that it was decided that Jane would be buried in Fort Morgan because the family had left Chicago with no familial connections, and Colorado was, in a sense, a halfway point between the cities.
Years later, when Dick's grandparents passed away, they would be buried next to Jane.
