Pour one for the Poudre and raise your glass on Oct. 12.

That’s when the annual Poudre Pour Art and Culture Fest fundraiser flows into Windsor, Colorado, with music, cultural demos, food trucks and, of course, a craft beer tasting, including the People’s Choice Award competition.

The Cache la Poudre River National Heritage Area produces the event each year to celebrate the history and culture of the river that runs through Northern Colorado. This year, in partnership with the Mexican American History Project: Greeley, the event marks Hispanic Heritage Month.

Latin music performers include Los Martinez Bros and Grupo Presidio. Dance performances and even dance lessons will occur, too.

“Hispanic culture has been an integral part of the area’s heritage, influencing everything from the region's architecture to its cuisine, from its language to its music and dance,” Maria Sanchez with Mexican American History Project: Greeley said via press release. “As we commemorate Hispanic Heritage Month, let’s take the time to learn from the richness of the Hispanic culture in the Cache la Poudre River National Heritage Area.”
