Do You Bo-Lieve Denver Broncos Football Is Finally Back?
Even though we've been bad for the better part of the last decade, Colorado is still buzzing about the 2024 Denver Broncos season kicking off this Sunday! Are you ready?
Denver Broncos 2024 Season Kicking Off This Sunday In Seattle
As the Denver Broncos prepare for their season opener this Sunday, most fans are filled with a mix of happiness and likely some anxiety. Let's be honest, we've just been let down season after season since we son Super Bowl 50 eight years ago...
The big question for most Denver Broncos fans is, have they done enough in the off-season for noticeable change, or are the Broncos set to repeat their past mistakes?
A New Denver Broncos Era or More of the Same?
The off-season brought significant changes to the Broncos' roster, but Heach Coach Sean Payton's staff mostly remains the same. With our "new" head coach heading into his second season in Denver, with a team he had a much bigger hand in designing, there’s much excitement that the Broncos might finally be on the right path.
Last season, and every season since winning Super Bowl 50, the team has had high expectations, yet fans have been left feeling extremely disappointed. The offense was inconsistent, the defense often failed to hold leads, and injuries took a toll on the team's performance.
Fortunately, as we head into our season opener, the Broncos are in a pretty good spot health and injury-wise, and with the addition of some great talent via the draft and free agency, we have quite a bit to be optimistic about, including our new Rookie QB.
Will Bo Nix Be The Future Of The Denver Broncos?
Most of the buzz this season will revolve around our young Rookie Quarterback, Bo Nix, who the Broncos drafted at number 12 overall in the 2024 NFL Draft. Bo beat out vets Jarret Stidham and Zach Wilson to be named the starter. No pressure, Bo, but you're the first Rookie QB to start for the Broncos since Broncos' Legend John Elway.
Their first game of the season is this Sunday in Seattle against the Seahawks, and it's going to be LOUD. It will be a true test not just for Bo, but all of our young players. The "12th Man" is no joke, and while the Broncos will be pushed to their limits, I think we walk away with a week one W. There goes that optimism again... What can I say? I'm a fool for my team... GO Broncos!
