
Popular Downtown Windsor Coffee Shop Isn’t Closing After All
For the past few weeks, residents of Windsor have been curious about the status of a popular coffee spot in the Downtown District.
Windsor Lake Coffee Closing in Downtown Windsor
In August, we shared with you the news that Windsor Lake Coffee would be closing its current location on September 25.
Currently, the business resides at 430 Main Street in Downtown Windsor.
Why Did Windsor Lake Coffee Close Its Main Street Location?

Initially, the team at this coffee shop said that they had attempted to find a new location, but "things unfortunately didn’t work out."
The owners of Windsor Lake Coffee & Marketplace shared in a social media statement that they spent months, "exploring options and negotiating for two different new locations."

High Desert Chocolate Taking Over Windsor Lake Coffee Space
Just last week we actually received confirmation about what would be moving in to this space. According to previous reporting, High Desert Chocolate is set to take over the building that Windsor Lake Coffee is currently operating out of.
Not only will you be able to grab some sweets and chocolate, but High Desert Chocolate in Windsor will offer classes and have a party room!
Windsor Lake Coffee Announces New Windsor Location
A few days before Windsor Lake Coffee's official closing date, the team made an exciting announcement! They aren't going away forever! The business is moving to a new location that's not too far from their old one.
In a social media statement on Facebook, the staff confirmed that their new location will be right across the street at 500 Main Street in Windsor.

It's truly humbling to see that we have completed our goal of creating a safe, community driven space in downtown Windsor. We are honored to be able to continue to serve you.
