We are big fans of NOCO Humane's work for Northern Colorado. NOCO Humane has a team of professionals and volunteers dedicated to creating the best life possible for the animals in their care. They go above and beyond to provide the best resources so each animal is prepared for its next home.

Each week, we feature a special pet ready for adoption. Introducing this week's Townsquare NoCo Pet of the Week, proudly presented by Bark'n Big.

I have to be honest with you. If my house was not already full of animals, I would adopt Max myself. Max is a five-year-old Boxer and Chinese Sharpei mix. Max is a very chill, mellow, and friendly guy.

Max is very sweet and loving and the key to his heart is butt scratches and cuddling. One thing that we love about Max is that he is extremely loyal and he will love following you around your home.

Max is also trained and knows the commands sit, paw, and down. He is leash-trained, but he does pull a little bit.

What To Consider Before Adopting Max From NOCO Humane

As we mentioned, Max is leash-trained. He does tend to pull a little bit when he sees other dogs as well as squirrels and rabbits. Max also happens to be dog-selective. If you have a pup that is looking for a sibling, NOCO Humane requires a meet and greet before adoption.
