A new business will be coming to downtown Windsor in Northern Colorado.

Windsor Lake Coffee Closing After Seven Years

Last week, we covered that Windsor Lake Coffee will be closing on September 25 after operating in downtown Windsor for over seven years.

Personally, I was incredibly sad about that news. Our building, Townsquare NoCo, is just a few blocks away, and I consider Windsor Lake Coffee my go-to spot downtown. Its fun vibe, delicious bites, and friendly staff made Windsor Lake Coffee a staple in the community.

High Desert Chocolate Taking Over Downtown Windsor Location

It sounds like the building in downtown Windsor will not be closed for too long. BizWest first reported that High Desert Chocolate will be taking over the building where Windsor Lake Coffee is currently operating.

We found their Facebook page, and it has been confirmed that High Desert Chocolate will be opening in Windsor.

Who Is High Desert Chocolate?

The company is originally from Sisters, Oregon. They describe themselves as a chocolate, ice cream, and coffee shop. On their social media, they post about creating milkshakes, chocolate, and many other sweet treats.

They have an online store that distributes their chocolate nationwide.

Their chocolate and desserts look like they are extremely high quality, delicious, and unique. Personally, I am excited to walk a couple of blocks down Windsor’s Main Street to check them out.
