Celebrities Spotted in Colorado Always Create Buzz

It’s always fun when celebrities are spotted in your hometown just going about their day.

Maybe they dropped by for a concert or they have some sort of family connection to the area.

Either way, thinking about your favorite musician just hanging out in the town or state that you live in is pretty cool.

One country superstar actually took this feeling to a whole new level.

Morgan Wallen’s New Album: "I'm The Problem"

I had been putting off listening to the new Morgan Wallen album for about a week and some change. This 37 song album by the country superstar is nearly two and a half hours long.

If you’re like me, when you’re having that first listen to new music, you want to lock in.

You want to make sure you’re able to enjoy it without interruptions. When the record is well over two hours long, that can be a bit challenging.

So, on the Friday of Memorial Day weekend, I decided to put Wallen’s ‘I’m the Problem’ on while I drove to Denver…

During rush hour…

If you’re wondering if I was able to listen to the full album while stuck in pre-holiday traffic; I was.

It was a long car ride.

I enjoyed the majority of the record. However, my ears perked up a bit when I listened to the song ‘Nothin’ Left.’

This track sounded a bit different from the other songs on the album. To be honest, I think this one might be my favorite from his most recent collection of work.

In the opening chorus, Wallen describes feeling alone after trying to drink away his problems.

‘Nothin’ Left’ Lyrics Highlight Colorado

Nothin' left there in the bottle
No, it's all up on my breath
Nothin' left but Colorado
Kinda cold down in this bed

This part gets repeated multiple times throughout the song, giving Colorado whole lot of love. As soon as I heard him mention the Centennial State, I knew this song would be the one I listen to over and over again.

You can take a listen to the song down below!

Another Colorado Mention in ‘Whiskey In Reverse’

Then a few songs later, Wallen mentions Colorado AGAIN! This shout out was at the very beginning of the track 'Whiskey In Reverse.'

‘Whiskey In Reverse’ Lyrics: Can’t Blame It on Colorado?

I'm sittin' on a rerun couch
Lookin' 'round at an empty house
Hungover, tryin' to figure out
Just how the hell that I got here
Can't blame it on Colorado
Tanqueray, no reposado
I could try but I know that I sure
Can't blame it on ice cold beer

Why Does Morgan Wallen Keep Mentioning Colorado?

The music superstar seems to have some harsh memories of Colorado.

Colorado, what did we do to Morgan Wallen?!?

The Real Story Behind Morgan Wallen’s Colorado Experience

After doing some digging, I found that something did happen to Morgan Wallen here that might have soured him on the Centennial State.

The Tennessee native performed at the Mile High Stadium in Denver to a sold out crowd, according to reports.

Wallen Was Hit by a Phone During His Denver Concert

However, things went a bit chaotic during Wallen's performance of 'Cowgirls.' One of the over-excited fans in the crowd chucked their phone at the singer, hitting him in the shoulder.

Wallen picked up the phone off the ground and threw it offstage.
