
Fort Collins Drivers See Hundreds of Speeding Tickets Waived After Error
Speeding cameras are popping up all over the place in Northern Colorado. Some residents are happy about the change, and others are frustrated with more surveillance. Whichever side of the debate you land on, you should make sure to watch your speed wherever you are.
Fort Collins Leads in Camera Enforcement
The city of Fort Collins has the most speeding cameras in Northern Colorado. The city has automatic speed radars at intersections. They also launched mobile speeding cameras in June.

Printing Error Forces Ticket Dismissals in Colorado
These speeding cameras are not always perfect. The city of Fort Collins will dismiss 477 speeding tickets within city limits due to an error with the company that prints and mails the tickets, according to KDVR.
Where and When the Tickets Were Issued in Fort Collins
The tickets, which have now been dismissed, are directly linked to one camera in the city of Fort Collins. That camera is on West Prospect Road between the dates of September 4 through 17.
If you received a speeding ticket on those dates, your ticket may have been waived. Specifically, KDVR says that the location is on the 800 block.
More Speed Cameras Coming to Colorado
More speed enforcement is coming to Northern Colorado. Just a few days ago, we reported that $5 million is being invested in speed radars across the entire state of Colorado.
