We regret to inform you of yet another I-25 closure, but... closures are scheduled for I-25 north of Mulberry (HWY 14) in Fort Collins starting on Wednesday (August 28) at 7 p.m.

Last weekend, I-25 closed near Johnstown, but this week, CDOT says crews will be working on the Vine Drive Bridge Replacement in Fort Collins. This will impact traffic in both directions between the Mulberry exit and the Mountain Vista exit near the Anheuser-Busch Brewery.

Fortunately, unlike the Johnstown closure, both lanes will not be closed simultaneously. On Wednesday starting at 7 p.m., I-25 will close to northbound traffic, reopening Thursday morning. Thursday (August 29) at 7 p.m., I-25 will close to southbound traffic.

Detour: Northbound I-25 full closure between Mulberry Street and Mountain Vista Drive (7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28 - 7 a.m. on Aug. 29)

Detour: Southbound I-25 full closure between Mountain Vista Drive and Mulberry Street (7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 29 - 7 a.m. on Aug. 30)

According to the Coloradoan, 'The Vine Drive and I-25 east frontage road intersection, which has been closed since June, will reopen in advance of the I-25 closures.'

The Vine Drive Bridge is expected to be done by early 2020. The original was built in 1966, and will be replaced by a more pedestrian-friendly bridge with a higher clearance for vehicles passing underneath.
