Saturday (March 3, 2018) looks like fantastic weather across the Front Range. With that, comes the opportunity to raise funds for Special Olympics Colorado! One is going on in Fort Collins, the other in Boulder.

Both will be chilly, but worth it!

Special Olympics Colorado provides year-round training and competition in 22 sports for over 23,000 athletes with intellectual disabilities who are living in the state of Colorado. The Polar Plunge series is the signature fundraiser for them!

Are you ready to take a Nice Bath?

Todd Harding has the story on how the Biergarten at the Anheuser-Busch Fort Collins Brewery & Tour Center will be hosting a Polar Plunge on Saturday with an 8,000-gallon tank of water. Splash!

Folks can also Polar Plunge in Boulder that day - into Boulder Reservoir! I get the feeling that this water will be much colder than the tank in Fort Collins. For a $75 minimum fundraising or donation, you can have a few seconds of cold, but long-lasting feelings of how you helped!

Boulder's plunge has a pre-party and an after-party (at Fate Brewing); so, this may be a great way to check out Boulder and a new (to you) brewery!

Of course, you don't HAVE to Polar Plunge at either one, but you do need to make a minimum donation of $75 (which will also get you a shirt!) Again, totally worth it!

Be Cold.Be Bold. Be THERE!

Keep in mind, there will be two other Polar Plunges in Colorado this month: One in Colorado Springs, and one in Denver!
