Dicks Sporting Goods Eliminating Guns in All Fort Collins Stores

Dicks Sporting Goods is planning to stop selling guns and all locations in Northern Colorado and across the nation in 2020.

This move follows a recent decision to scale back guns and gun departments. A few days  the Parkland, Florida shooting 10 stores pulled guns as a test.

After the test, overall sales increased at those stores so the company pulled guns and ammunition from 125 stores in March of 2019.

Stock for Dicks Sporting Goods jumped 13% after the announcement.
