When I was a kid, I had a huge footlocker full of LEGOs. When I say full, I mean FULL to the brim. I loved building things with my colorful blocks when I was younger. As the years progressed, so did my LEGO collection.

What started out as a mishmash of colorful blocks soon turned into more advanced sets with the piqued interest of the LEGO Technic line. Vehicles, helicopters, and the introduction of motorized gears in the Technic line fascinated me. Sadly, as the teenage years approached, my interest in LEGOs started to decline, and eventually, they would find their way into a garage sale never to be seen again.

To say I regret that decision is an understatement. However, that chock-full footlocker would have been nothing short of miserable to move around the country. I still love LEGOs and tinker with them at any given chance.

It doesn't matter if you are young or old, if you love LEGOs, I have something to tell you about. A festival is coming to Colorado in November called Brick Fest Live and it is a LEGO lover's paradise. Brick Fest Live will take place over two days at the Colorado Springs Event Center located at 3960 Palmer Park Boulevard.

Be sure to mark your calendar for the LEGO lover in your life for Brick Fest Live taking place on November 12 and 13. From what we can see, Brick Fest Live appears to sell out pretty quickly. The Colorado Springs Brick Fest Live event is currently accepting pre-sale registration.

It's sure to be a blast for anyone who loves to build with LEGOs.
