Bye, Denver: Southwest Flights Start at $49 This Week

Planning on a getaway in 2019? If you're traveling between now and December, this is the week to book your flight with Southwest's cheap tickets. 

June 4 - June 6 is Southwest Airline's 72-Hour Sale, meaning you have just a short amount of time to book a flight out of DIA for any time up to December 18, 2019 (with some exclusions, like Labor Day and holidays).

According to USA TODAY, Southwest aims to 'fill seats during the slow travel period after summer vacation season and before the busy year-end holiday and school break travel rush.'

The catch is that the tickets are non-refundable.

Least-expensive flights are from Denver to Lubbock, TX for $49, and to Oklahoma City, OK for $69. But, if you'd like your destination to be a little more, you know, appealing, you can fly from DIA to Los Angeles or Las Vegas for $99. You can see the full list of flights departing Denver from KOAA.
