4 Men Seeking To Have Sex With Underage Children Busted By LCSO

The Larimer County Sheriff's Office (LCSO) has successfully conducted a joint sting operation that essentially aimed to target individuals who were actively seeking to have sexual contact with underage children.

On Tuesday (Dec. 7), the Larimer County Sheriff's Office published a news release regarding the internet luring sting operation, stating that LCSO investigators, along with members of the LCSO Strategic Enforcement Unit, Homeland Security Investigations, and the Colorado Bureau of Investigation came together to conduct the operation in two different locations in Larimer County from Wednesday, Dec. 1 to Friday, Dec. 3, 2021.

As per the news release, four arrests were made as a direct result of this operation:

Amarnath Arikapudi of Fort Collins, 30 

Arikapudi, a Fort Collins local was arrested on the following charges -

• Internet Luring of a Child w/Intent for Sexual Contact or Exploitation x 2 counts (F4)
• Attempted Sexual Assault on a Child x 2 counts (F4)
• Criminal Attempt to Commit Class 4 Felony x 2 counts (F5)
• Patronizing a Prostituted Child x 2 counts (F3)

According to the Larimer County Sheriff's Office, Arikapudi posted a cash/surety bond of $50,000 on Friday, Dec. 3.

Jeffrey Beaman of Fort Collins, 51

Beaman, another Fort Collins local was arrested on the following charges -

• Attempted Sexual Assault on a Child (F4)
• Internet Luring of a Child (F5)
• Patronizing a Prostituted Child (F3)

Beaman also posted a cash/surety bond (worth $20,000) as per LCSO, but the date on which that was processed was not made publicly available.

Satyander Dudee of Versailles, Kentucky, 53

Dudee, a Kentucky resident was arrested on the following charges -

• Internet Luring of a Child w/Intent for Sexual Contact or Exploitation (F4)
• Attempted Sexual Assault on a Child (F4)
• Criminal Attempt to Commit Class 4 Felony (F5)
• Enticement of a Child (F4)
• Patronizing a Prostituted Child (F3)
  • Posted cash/surety bond of $50,000 on 12/04/2021

Dudee posted a cash/surety bond of $50,000 on Saturday, Dec. 4.

Joshua McCathern of Cheyenne, Wyoming, 39

39-year-old McCathern was arrested on the following charges -

• Patronizing a Prostituted Child (F3)
• Internet Luring of a Child (F5)
• Attempted Sexual Assault on a Child (F4)

McCathern posted a cash/surety bond (worth $35,000) but the date on which that was processed was not made publicly available.

Additional information regarding the operation was not and will not be released in an effort not to jeopardize future operations, according to the Larimer County Sheriff's Office.

It's important to note - as per LCSO - that these charges are merely accusations, and the defendants are presumed innocent until, and unless, proven guilty.
