Whitney Houston passed away nearly eight years ago leaving a music legacy beyond compare. She's one of the six 2020 inductees into the RHOF.

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame announced its 2020 inductees on January 15, 2020, including the one and only Whitney Houston.

Her debut album in 1985, 'Whitney Houston,' was a phenomenal smash, having sold over 22 million copies to date. Though her following albums were never AS successful, Whitney was a powerhouse in her prime, without question.

You can say a lot about her personal life, but you can't deny she deserves this professional recognition.

Acts joining Whitney in the 2020 class of inductees:

  • Depeche Mode
  • Doobie Brothers
  • Nine Inch Nails
  • The Notorious B.I.G.
  • T-Rex

The 35th annual RHOF Induction Ceremony will take place on May 2, 2020, in Cleveland and will be broadcast live on HBO.

You can be at the cermony. Tickets for the general public go on sale on February 27, 2020, through Ticketmaster.
