TRI 102.5 is Going Pink for National Breast Cancer Awareness Month!

Every 2 minutes a woman is diagnosed with Breast Cancer. All through October, join TRI 102.5 as we Go Pink to raise awareness of the disease, to help support to women who have been diagnosed with Breast Cancer and to join the fight in finding a cure!

It’s expected that over 40,000 women in 2015 will die from Breast Cancer. That number is startling.  That’s why we here at TRI 102.5, along with Fort Collins Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram, Banner Health and The Outlets at Loveland, have teamed up to join in the fight and to Go Pink; in conjunction with National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

All through October, be listening to TRI 102.5 for information about Breast Cancer. Information; ranging from prevention, diagnosis, to treatments, survivorship, fundraisers and more.

You’ll have the opportunity to join us, along with health professionals, at live broadcasts from Banner Health facilities where we’ll discuss many topics regarding Breast Cancer.

At TRI 1025.com we’ll have many articles and videos about Breast Cancer. Stories about having been diagnosed with Breast Cancer, early detection of the disease, stories about the treatment options, stories of inspiration, and information on where you can go to be a part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month fundraisers across Northern Colorado.

We’ll have fun, too. Be watching and listening for where you can join us for Friday afternoon ‘Pink Parties’ in October. At the Pink Parties, we’ll hang out and have a good time, while also taking donations for the wonderful folks at Hope Lives.

Make plans to join us, when we wrap up October with our ‘Boos and Brews’ event at the Biergarten at Anheuser-Busch in Fort Collins! That free event will feature costumes, live music, a cash bar and your chance to donate to Hope Lives.

As we want to not only bring awareness this month to Breast Cancer, we also want to help in the effort to finding a cure; that’s why we’re supporting The Breast Cancer Research Fund who are committed to preventing and curing Breast Cancer by advancing the world's most promising research. Every $25 donated to BRCF provides a half-hour of research towards finding a cure. This month, a special donor will be matching donations up to $50,000! Donate today!
